reality Vs. REALITY !

reality Vs. REALITY

In the world of television we get skewed information of what life really is. We see the glitz, glam, and perfection of the sit com life, but is that really how average American citizens live on a day to day basis. The answer is no, when it comes to race and class the world see's two different images of life. For example sit coms such as The Fresh Prince of Belair and The Cosby Show show the great side of African-American living. You see the average upper-middle class family with working parents and well educated children. But change to station to your local news you will most likely see something along the lines of black men being associated with crime. Not to say that there aren't any affluent black families in the world there are but they don't represent the whole 13% of my race.

The Cosby's was cool but television is a lie

for some reason i relate to survival Fresh

we was playing cops and crooks....

As Small As A Giant - BIG KRIT.

This verse is from Rapper Big Krit's song As Small As A Giant. You can clearly see his frustration with the way media was portrayed while he was growing up in a completely different environment.
